The only limit is your imagination.

Welcome to Solid Concepts

3D Printing or Rapid Prototyping, consists of many different technologies and processes, all with the same aim, to produce real physical models of your design in the fastest possible way at an affordable price.
Solid Concepts established in 1994 as the first privately owned Rapid Prototyping company in Australia, uses various 3D Printing, Rapid Prototyping technologies including Selective Laser Sintering (SLS), Stereolithography (SLA), Fused Deposition Modelling (FDM), CNC Machining and Vacuum Casting for short run production.

In addition, since 1999, Solid Concepts offers a complete manufacturing service from Tooling to Plastic Injection Moulding.

Contact us to discuss your requirements and we will endeavour to help you get the results you desire.

Selective Laser Sintering (SLS)

SLS technology uses a laser beam to selectively fuse powdered materials into solid objects in glass-filled nylon, nylon. Use SLS to create functional prototypes, direct tooling and patterns, as well as final parts. More...

Vacuum Casting

Silicon Moulding creates high quality multiple prototypes similar to final products as well as small production runs in a range of plastics or rubbers. Match the colour, texture and flexibility to the intended characteristics of your final product. More...

Stereolithography (SLA)

Stereolithography builds 3D models layer by layer from liquid photosensitive polymers that solidify when exposed to ultraviolet light. We utilise various polymers including ABS type, Polypropylene type and heat resistant resins. More...

Rapid Tooling

Solid Concepts offers fully machined steel or aluminium tools for low to medium volume parts. These tools can be used for prototype or production, producing parts in end-use materials, accommodating production quantities in excess of 100,000 parts. More...
